Our ZhuBei camp was held at an elementary school near Hsinchu. It was a two day camp, meaning that it was half the length of our usual four day camps. As such, we changed our four day curriculum and fit it into two days. We held three classes in the morning, English, Music and Games, and three classes in the afternoon, English, Music, and American Culture. We had around 70 campers. The i42 members were all teachers and the church provided small group leaders; there were also siblings, Jonathan and Ruth, who came with their father, who was a pastor in Taipei. Due to such a tight schedule, we were not able to perform our usual house visits. Another challenge that the team faced is in building relationships with the kids in such a short time. However, despite these obstacles, the camp went fairly smoothly and the kids all had a great time. The team also held an evangelism outreach on the first day, which also ran smoothly. Two of our team members were able to share their testimonies during the outreach night, and many people showed up. Our camp was pretty much an introduction of the church to the community, helping the church to reach out to the local area.
