- Many of our team members will be arriving tonight and we will be heading out to our camps tomorrow.
- Pray for our members who are jet lagging
- Pray for our setup and coworker training tomorrow.
First week (7/2-7):
WuLun JH (Year 2, 35 campers) Keelung is an area that is surrounded by lots of temples and has a strong folk religion and Buddhist background. We have been working at the elementary school and will be moving on to the Junior High in hopes to found a new youth group at the local church
- Pray for God to continue the work that he started over the last 3 years. The camps have been effective and has helped with church growth
- Pray for the establishment of a new youth group and for the coworker training that will be included
N Taichung (Year 8) (90 Campers)
- Pray for the kids to come to believe in Christ. Taichung is the Buddhist stronghold of Taiwan and many of these kids have or will attend Buddhist camps in the summer. 70-80% of our campers and their families are hearing the gospel for the first time.
- Pray for the many seeds that were planted over the last 7 years. Many families have come to believe and we had a few families baptized.
- The Church as they will be leading their own camps next year and running one of the classes at this camp
