Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I would like to thank you once again for being so faithful and joining us as we carry out God's calling for us in Taiwan the last 10 years! As you all may know, missions in Taiwan is always a struggle and it has been extremely humbling to see how God has moved despite our weaknesses and our failures. God has been changing the landscape of Taiwan, even in the midst of a antagonistic LBGT movement towards the church. This last year we saw many more come to Christ, as well as the baptisms of a number of our former campers and their families. As several children programs has started sprouting and taken new life. We are seeing many churches mobilizing in reaching out to their communities. We ask that you join our fellow brothers and sisters in prayer as they fight on the front-lines.

We are now one month away from setting off and beginning our first camp in Taiwan. I would also like to use this opportunity to introduce you to our theme for this year as well as give you a brief overview of where we believe that God is leading us. This year we will be taking a team of 16 people from GPCCC as well as another 8 people from California. Our theme for this year is very fitting for our current world events, “Together”: Come together, Stick together, Stand together, and Walk together. We will be emphasizing the importance of meaningful relationships, especially with Jesus Christ.

Here are the key points for this year's trip:

  • 32 days on the field to hold 8 English camps: 2 Junior High, 1 High school, 5 elementary schools, as well as 4 evangelical programs, and 12 parenting classes.
  • 4 new camps and 4 old camps
  • 3 Hakka (hardest to reach) camps
  • 1 church to co-lead camp and move on to running their own camps in the future
  • Multiple churches will be using this opportunity to start their own youth groups and children's ministry.

We will also be sending out our mission’s calendar and prayer requests in the following weeks so please stay tuned! Your prayers are a great support and encouragement to us as well as our brothers and sisters in Taiwan.

Our fundraising will also be beginning starting this next week. God has been very faithful these last few years and we have always been able to raise our funds due to your faithfulness to Gods calling. This year we are in larger need than previous due to a lower number of people going from GPCCC. If you find that God is calling you to be with us, please support and send us to be workers in the fields of Taiwan.
